Community Benefits

Throughout 2018 Dundee Plant Company Limited have committed to many local schemes to enhance the local community

• Dundee City Council Employability Scheme – We work with DCC to get young people back into the working environment
  • Employability Policy
• Maggies Centre Dundee – Penguin Parade – Dundee Plant Company Limited have sponsored a penguin and will be assisting with the logistics and placing of penguins throughout the Dundee area. Penguins to be unveiled in June 2018.

• Kingspark Primary School – we were asked by a key client to assist with groundworks, concrete slab and hard landscaping works for Yurt to be installed for the benefit of the children of Kingspark Primary School in Dundee.
• Living Wage Accredited Employer – in 2017 we became accredited as Living Wage Employer ensuring that all our employees receive a wage which allows them to live comfortably
• In conjunction with the CITB we provide apprenticeships in scaffolding and civil engineering, in 2017 we employed 4 apprentices to build for the future.
